Five good reasons to become a supporting member of Sea-Watch

  1. You’re part of a movement actively defending human rights.
As a supporting member, you make Sea-Watch possible — from rescue missions at sea to aerial documentation and political advocacy on land. Your regular donation ensures our missions can be planned reliably and that Sea-Watch remains operational in the long term — independent of government funding. This allows us to stand in solidarity with people on the move.
  2. You stay fully informed.
You’ll receive our exclusive newsletter for supporting members with in-depth information about civil sea rescue and Sea-Watch, as well as personal mission reports. (You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.)
  3. You get behind-the-scenes access.
Whether it’s a reading, panel discussion, or film screening — we’ll invite you to Sea-Watch events in your area (mainly in Germany). We also host exclusive webinars several times a year for supporting members in german and english: your chance to speak directly with Sea-Watch activists about their work.
  4. Your donation is tax-deductible in Germany.
You’ll automatically receive a donation receipt for your tax return in the first quarter of the following year if you reside in Germany.
  5. You stay flexible.
You can adjust your membership contribution and payment frequency at any time or cancel your supporting membership altogether. If you have any questions about your membership, you can always reach us via E-Mail.
